Instagram
Monitor your Instagram for comments, DMs, brand inquiries, and post performance. Get notified when followers need a reply or engagement spikes.
Quick Setup
- In Phyllax → Integrations → Instagram → Connect
- Enter your Instagram username and password
- Click Save & Connect
Credentials stored locally
Your Instagram username and password are encrypted and stored locally on your device only. They are never sent to Phyllax servers. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, use an app-specific password.

Notification Actions
When Instagram finds something important, the notification card shows:
- Reply to comment — AI drafts a reply you can edit before posting
- Like — like the post or comment
- View post — open the post in Instagram
- Hide comment — hide spam or inappropriate comments
- View analytics — see engagement metrics
All action chips that involve writing (Reply to comment, etc.) open the AI draft panel — AI generates a suggested response that you can edit before posting.
Troubleshooting
"Challenge required" error
Instagram detected an unusual login. Open Instagram on your phone, complete the security challenge, then try connecting again in Phyllax.
Two-factor authentication blocking login
If you have 2FA enabled, you need to use an app-specific password or temporarily disable 2FA to connect. Instagram's unofficial API doesn't support 2FA codes.
Comments not loading
Instagram rate-limits API requests. If you're monitoring many posts, reduce the check frequency to every 15-30 minutes to avoid being temporarily blocked.
