Notification Actions

When YouTube finds something important, the notification card shows:

  • Reply to comment — AI drafts a reply you can edit before posting
  • Like — like the comment
  • View post — open the video in YouTube
  • Hide comment — hide spam or inappropriate comments
  • View analytics — see video performance metrics

All action chips that involve writing (Reply to comment, etc.) open the AI draft panel — AI generates a suggested response that you can edit before posting.

Troubleshooting

"API key not valid" error

Make sure the YouTube Data API v3 is enabled in Google Cloud Console → APIs & Services → Library. The API key alone isn't enough — the API must be activated.

Quota exceeded

The YouTube Data API has a daily quota of 10,000 units. Each request costs units (search costs 100, list costs 1-5). If you hit the limit, reduce check frequency or remove less important schedules.

Channel analytics not showing

Revenue and detailed analytics require OAuth authentication, not just an API key. The API key provides read access to public data. For monetization data, connect via Google OAuth in Phyllax Settings.
